Do you have testimonies to share about God’s dependability? Send it to me and it will be featured here.
Believe me sincerely, God is dependable. He is reliable. He is unchangeable. He is the only one who can reverse the irreversible. He is the only one who can do the impossible. He has done it before, He is doing it now and He will still continue to do it, till the end of age. I have no doubt in my heart about this at all. Why, you may ask? It’s because, I am a living testimony of these facts.
I was born, unwanted. I was born, rejected. I was born with glowing stars but unrecognized because I’m a girl. My dad wanted a boy. I was born in the lion’s den, into the hands of lions, raised among lions, came along other lions on my journey through life, but God preserved me. He did not allow me to be consumed for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Every step was a struggle. From infancy to adulthood and now to the next stage of life, but God preserved me.
When the road was so rough that the dust of life made it virtually impossible to see Him, He was there. When the waves of the roaring, boisterous wind was almost swallowing me up, He was there. When I passed through the fire, He didn’t allow it to consume me. When the enemies came in against me like a flood, His Spirit raised up a standard against them. He kept me through the thick. He kept me through the thin. He is still watching over me jealously.
I don’t know about you, but as for me, He is my ever-present help in the time of trouble. He is my must-have friend that sticks closer than a brother. He is my dependable God. Is He your dependable God?
This is the introduction of my book, “The Dependable God.”
